Now I love The Flaming Lips, and it was great at first hearing their song, "Do You Realize??" from their album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robot featured in the new Mitsubishi Gallant commercial where dumbfounded people are shown waving at a passing car. But after repeating the commercial over and over again every 10 minutes, the song is starting to grate on me. It's a great album and a great band. Listen to it before this commercial spoils it.

i think my favorite songs are "flight test" and "yoshimi battle the pink robots pt 1." unfortunately i've worn out the gooves on this album. i'm just really bummed out that i missed seeing them at irving plaza a few months ago.
