Scott called on Saturday. He just drove in for Passover and I just woke up. I met up with Scott, Dave & Sim for drinks at Cedar Tavern. Bloody Marys and Rum & Diet. The breakfast of Champions. I was hungry for real food and Scott wanted to go to Joe's Shanghai in Chinatown. Good idea. I haven't had their soup dumplings in a while. There was a huge crowd waiting outside as usual so Sim put our name on the list and took a number. 35. Hey Joe, whaddaya know? Joe knows crabmeat soup dumplings. There is none better. We didn't feel like playing pool and didn't feel like doing anything else except drink. We ended up @ Double Happiness. A hidden bar in a basement in Chinatown/Little Italy. Love those green tea martinis.
