oh, by the way. my phone is fixed

I 'm so fed up with my phone. The screen is totally gone and I can't see what numbers I'm punching. I keep accidently calling people. So I stopped by a wireless phone store on St. Mark's and the guy there told me it'll cost me $300 to replace my handset. damn. But he could replace just the LCD for a lot less. How long would it take? 10 minutes. MAKE IT SO. He salvaged parts from another handset and performed transplant surgery on mine. But it was taking him over an hour to make the repairs. Apparently after much button pushing, he determined that the salvaged screen was defective and that my phone was broken. No way. fix it or give me a new one. He took apart another phone. He was speaking in an unfamiliar tongue. He told me that his name was Steve and that he was Tibetan and speaks 4 languages. Born in Tibet, went to school in India, lived in China and just move to the U.S. 2 years ago at the age of 16. Interesting life so far. Yeah but his family is scattered all over the world and he misses them. His Mom asked him what his goals were. He told her that his life goal is to have Power and Money. OK. Mine is to get my phone fixed and get outta here. Calls to make, people to see.
