Last Sunday was the Five Boro Bike Tour. And it was a beautiful day for it. Rode with Matthew and Evelyn and even briefly met Jenny and Erik. The only sucky part was that there were a lot of congestion which meant that we had to walk our bikes more than usual. But to be able to ride on roads off limits to you and see so many beautiful and diverse parts of the city in 4 hours is a real treat. This photo was shot coming off the 59th Street Bridge. I saw an official event photographer sitting on the road and I was aiming straight for him for the optimal beauty shot and voila!

not sure why - maybe it is the incline but it looks like you are riding backwards into the crowd. nice shot.

ah, the good ol days - how i miss them. but i bought a new bike just last night! heading back out on the open road i am.
