Kwame Bill, You're Hired

We were invited to attend cocktails and dinner at our sales conference. It was being held at the Sheraton in Party town Parsippany, NJ. Steve was driving us, but first, we wanted to make a quick stop at the Short Hills Mall. What a fancy schmancy mall. Filled with Hi-end stores and housewives whose only job all day is to look as hot as they can while they shop. I overheard a women and her friend sitting next to us in a cafe, both with matching Things To Do Today list, happilly crossing off another item on their list, Stop to Drink Lattés. ahhh. We went into Neiman Marcus. Things are so expensive here. I looked at a shirt I liked and it was marked $350. wow. I looked through the Burberry section and saw a light black jacket. No price tag. But judging by the price of the shirts, probably mucho $$$. I'm not into the Burberry thing but a salesperson offered to help and to give him something to do, I asked him how much the jacket was. It was marked down 75%. Tried it on and it felt great and fitted me nicely. At that price, I had to get it. My first and only Burberry. We left to attend the conference. We didn’t know where the Sheraton hotel was, but then it appeared as if out of the mist of Avalon. Shaped like a Castle. Drinks and dinner was fun. Met a lot of the Sales force. We had assigned seating for dinner and I sat with Susan from FSG. We had a nice time. There were a lot of newbies to sales conference and they were all surprised at how much fun they had. Yeah, it was great, but in the end, it’s like hanging out with your parents. I'm so Fired.
