Texas Hold'em slips out of my hands

I just lost all my money playing tournament style Texas Hold'em Poker so now I'm sitting out Blogging.
We were still waiting for Celvyn so we started playing without him. Dave was playing in a way that just wasn't fun. The game was over in 10 minutes. It wasn't until Celvyn came with his knowledge of the proper rules that it made sense. But it still didn't help with my betting. I should fold more often with my crappy hands. So now I'm downloading music and Buffy movies.

I slept in till 2 today. I really needed my rest. I had no afternoon plans. After watching some of the Yanks vs. Mets game, I left the house. Did you see Thursday's Yankees extra inning win against Boston? That's gotta hurt for you poor Boston fans. sorry Biz. It was so awesome. a classic. Pretty boy Jeter messed up his face diving into the stands catching a foul ball. He carrys the mantle of Yankee Captain proudly.

It was so hot out today. And a head full of hair wasn't helping. Decided to get my haircut. Nice and cool, streamlined and ready for the world. I called Erin. She started her new waitressing job at a Mexican restaurant in Time Square. She can't keep her tips yet. She's still in training. Hung out at the water fountain in Washington Sq. Park. A pitbull and a golden retriever was playing fetch with a plastic coke bottle in the water. everytime they got out of the fountain, they would shake off, splashing everyone. Sometimes they would both have a hold of the bottle in their mouths and neither one was letting go. Ferocious growls coming out of their throats. I envisioned a nasty, bloody dog fight breaking out. nice doggies.
This Balvenie Scotch is so tasty but it's making me sleepy. I have the munchies.
