Emily, my former assistant who's been helping us out with mechanicals came in all bright eyed this morning. Her eyes looked so relaxed today. What's up? She got a job offer to work at Penguin and doesn't know if she should take it. It'll be Sad to see you go, but you should definitely accept it. Congratulations E Dog. It's a long time coming.
Today is also Nina, my soon to be former assistant's last day at SMP. So today finally came and it's so sad to see you go, but have fun training gold fishes.
Now Marina, my current assistant was just in my office and she obviously had something on her mind. What?! She just told me that she's leaving to design beautiful editorial spreads for Graphis magazine. Sad to see you go, but that's an awesome job.
This is gonna be a sucky month.
