for the record

Rob bought in some albums to break in my new record player. He found them in his apartment. The person who used to rent his room left them behind. Interesting selection. Best of Dylan, Stone's Goat's Head Soup, Best of ABBA, Duran Duran and best of all, Ratt. After hearing Round and Round once, we put it away, far away. I found out what that player attachment is. It attaches to the spindle and clamps down the record so that you can hang the player on the wall and play it vertically. nice.

Met Kevin B. for drinks after work at Flatiron Lounge. It's was a little too fancy, but they had Chimay and Sam Smith oatmeal stout. So we stayed and ate peanuts and had a great time. Karen had taken his design class at SVA. He asked me why I'm not teaching. It's such a dedication of time, but I'm thinking about it. I think I'd like to teach at Parson's instead of my alma mater SVA. So much to do.
