My nephew Jeff came by to visit me in the flatiron. He's never been here before and he was impressed to be inside. He always wondered what it was like looking out of the point. I asked him if he was reading anything. Just comics, Batman, stuff. He hadn't read many books recently. I thought he might be interested in reading these two novels I worked on. I gave him Paul Auster’s City of Glass, written in Graphic novel format and Michael Chabon’s The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. I thought this would be the perfect bridge between comics and literature. I love spreading the word. Enjoy.
I've actually been trying to catch up on my super hero comics. I recently read Batman: Hush Vol. 1 and 2. Batman, Catwoman and an amazing collection of characters with great art by Jim Lee and written by Jeph Loeb. I really enjoyed these but Nina hated them. And Superman for All Seasons, which was also written by Jeph Loeb. Following Superman's earliest adventures as he struggles with the burdens of his new responsibilities. I also bought Batman: Year One, Batman: Black and White, and Superman: The Greatest Stories Ever Told.
