The Art of Albums

Played my Ella Fitzgerald records on my portable player. Her records sound so great on vinyl. Her voice was built for vinyl. She sounds so warm and the slight record pops just add to the sound. The portable player produces a surprisingly full sound. I went on Ebay to look for more records and won cheap bids on Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain and Duke Ellington's Anatomy of a Murder. The album art is so good looking. I bought them equally for the art and the music. The Anatomy album uses the movie poster art created by the legendary designer, Saul Bass.

I never noticed how similar the two were.
