It's finally here.

My vote is cast.
The lines forming outside my voting polls were long. Tensions were high and mini disputes were erupting up and down the block. Luckily the line for my Ward was short. The voting booths were brand new. The ballots are now entered Electronically. I was confused and nervous that I was going to enter the wrong vote. I miss the old booths. Closing the curtains by pulling the lever and clicking the toggle switches and pulling the lever back to make it final. Ka-Chunk! Next!
Seeing the long lines was very encouraging and made me smile. I was excited to do my part. But now I'm anxious for Kerry. Now it's the waiting game.
