Me: Hello?
Apt: Yes?
Me: Can I speak to Cheryl?
Apt: Who's calling?
Me: My name is Henry. I'm calling to inquire about apartment 12 L. My friend Erika has the lease and she's moving out and she referred me to the apartment.
Apt: Yes?
Me: She just spoke to a Cheryl a minute ago to tell her that I was interesting in taking over the lease. She told me that they would be expecting my call.
Apt: Yes?
Me: Well...I'm calling for Cheryl. To tell her that I am interested in the apartment.
Apt: This is Cheryl.
Me: oh?
Apt: Well. First of all. We are reviewing her case and she still needs to hand in her keys.
Me: So, do I need to do anything now?
Apt: We'll call you.
Me: OK.
Apt: good bye.
Me: good bye. Wait. Don't you need my phone number?
Apt: sure.
Me: Can I do anything to move forward on possibly renting the apartment.
Apt: Yes.
Me: OK?
Apt: You can fill out an application if you want.
Me: Yes.
Apt: Yes?
Me: Yes. You can fax it to this number.
Apt: OK. Bye.
Me. OK. Bye (click) ?
