Saw Avenue Q on Broadway last night w/ Rob, Jenny, Erik, his sister & her pretty friend Sylvia.
It's a musical about
struggling with life after college
trying to make a living in the big city
the search for purpose
the search for love,
the search for courage to say what you're feeling,
knowing we're all a little bit racist
all done through muppets and humans sharing the stage
bad idea bears
daring and raunchy
Hot muppet sex with bad language
None of this makes sense
on stage it's so bizarre,
it shouldn't work, but it does very well.
good songs and a good message
A feel good musical.
Theater is fun...
