Whoa, that was awesome! Apolo Anton Ohno's men's 500 meter short track speed skating Gold winning race was thrilling. After 2 false starts, Ohno jumped out of the starting line first and never lost the lead. It was a perfect 42 seconds of heart pounding breath holding. The big Gold threat Ahn from Korea was trapped behind the two Canadians at the start. Big thanks to our North American Cousins for the block. And then he helped team USA earn the Bronze in the speed skating relays. It was chaos. Alternating relays teams, one racing and two circling along side them waiting for the hand off. Two separate medal battles were going on. A fight for the Gold between Canada and South Korea, and a fight for the Bronze between Italy and USA. Italy was in the lead with 2 laps to go until the anchor OHNO again cut passed the Italian on the inside turn on the last lap. Whoo-Hooo. SuhWEET!

Spent this beautiful day hanging out with my niece and nephew in Hoboken. Brought over an assortment of their favorite pastries. I was taking drawing request. Space ships, jets, cars, tractor, dog, cat, panda, his sister. Keep it coming. I can draw it all. Then my niece and I helped rid a kingdom of it's goblins, giants and dragons problems playing Gauntlet on their Nintendo 64. My nephew was telling his Mom that they needed to spend more quality time with our side of the family. I asked him if he knew what Quality meant. He just looked at me blankly then gave me a clueless shrugged. Hey, at least he knows it's a good thing.

Women's Biathalon is a crazy event. Guns, Girls and Skis. That's all you need. Skiing in a cross country race that gets their heart pumping, putting down their ski poles, sling over their rifles, then calming their heart rate down to accurately sharp shoot 5 silver dollar sized targets from 50 meters away. These rifles even have built in customed shaped back straps. For every target missed you have to do a penalty lap on this side oval. How cool is this event?
Bode Miller blows. He says he happy to come to the Olympics just for the fun and experience. Yeah, Bust your ass for 4 years just so you can party hard in the Olympic Village.
