Ja? You Lika Das Gute Bier!?

We waited on line at the Shake Shack for 40 minutes. LeeAnn's boyfriend Glenn came down to eat with us but the waiting ate into his lunch break and he had to go back to work. We were debating if this was really worth standing in line, but one bite into that juicy Shackburger tells you that the answer is yes. Everyone came out to eat in Madison Sq. park this glorious day. Even Shea came out of his office to socialize with us. Groundhog Shea.
Afterwork, Cara wanted to go to the Bier Garden by her house in Astoria. Sim & Dave wimped out. weak. Glenn met up with us. We thought it might be too chilly to sit outdoors but the weather was perfect. Ordered pitchers of Pilsner Urquell and delicious Hoegaarden. I think there is only 1 waitress working the entire garden. LeeAnn was too hungry to wait so she chased down the waitress to tell her that we were ready to order. Usually the waitress disappears for an hour but the mushroom and potato dumplings came out quickly. Why is Oktoberfest not celebrated in October but in September?
Emily mentioned we should go to Loreley, a German Beer Garden in the Lower East Side. Sounds Gute to me.
